1. Definitions and Context
In these Terms and Conditions, "Company" refers to RMJ Express Supply Chain Inc, and "Customer" identifies the individual or entity requesting transportation logistics or trucking services. We're committed to the highest standards of the supply chain industry, and these rules exist to protect your cargo and our fleet.
2. Operational Liabilities
Liability limits for loss or damage are specifically capped unless a higher valuation is declared and additional insurance premiums are paid in advance. Have you verified your specific cargo requirements for high-value transits?
3. Payment Terms & Demurrage
- Invoicing: Standard payment windows are Net 30 from the date of delivery unless otherwise negotiated in a Master Services Agreement.
- Detention: Drivers are afforded two hours of free time at both origin and destination. Beyond this, detention fees apply to maintain fleet efficiency.
Documentation
Proper BOL documentation is the Customer's responsibility. Incomplete paperwork stays the transit.
Claims
Notice of intent to file a claim must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery receipt.
Subcontracting
We reserve the right to utilize vetted partner carriers within our trusted network.
